Attention Pilots,

SmartCARS version 3 is now fully operational and is in the Member Download Center.(on the menus). This version now has a working Live Map, where as version 2 does not ! On another note as of this post TFDI is still having issues with the Live Chat system, this has nothing to do with us what so ever. We will of course keep an eye on this as SC3 is a Paid subscription and we want it working obviously. Like SmartCARS 2, SC3 is fully operational with ALL versions of Flight Simulators, as long as you have a valid FSUIPC, and for xPlane a valid plugin xUICPC in working orders. These are also in the member download section here on this site. SmartCARS 3 is more detailed then version 2 or other systems here, added is the Flight Sim your using, the COMS and NAVS, and notifications on your final approach, SC2 does not have this. As mentioned, the Map is fully functional and is a pleasant addon for us. If you download this and install it and can't login to it with your Pilot ID, then use your Web Site Email that you registered with here, this for sure will work. If you need help, then contact Jim or Ron and we can meet on Team Speak to get you going with it. Thank You Pilots.

A brief look at our multiple Client Flight Tracking software. We offer here multiple Client Software systems, Smartcars, cACARS, kACARS, and CCFTracker. They all work and have been tested with the listed results below. Please read through this carefully as it will help you get in the Air very quickly and easily.

As of the release of MSFS2020, there is still only one Client Software that works with this, and that is only SmartCars, period. This is also the case for all versions of xPlane with the needed Plugin, and if your running xPlane then you are obviously already aware of the needed plugin for this. There is no plugin involved with MSFS2020. Again.....Smartcars is the only Client Software that works for these 2 Flight Sims. Nothing else does. On the upside, all of the rest of the Clients work for the following Flight Simulators including of course smartcars, FSX, FSX-SE, with or without TAC-PAC and/or Acceleration, P3D all versions, and yes even FS2009/FS2004 for those still trapped in the Movie of "The Rim of the World"...lol. The following are Favorites here, cACARS, and SmartCars, as both hold multiple Bids at once, the difference between the 2 is Smartcars allows a creation of Routes, where as cACARS will not of course. As mentioned, if using 2020 or xplane, you have no choice if you want to fly here, smartcars. If your using anything else, then you do have choices here.

Smartcars uses resources in the AppData/Roaming area in a protected enviroment, where as cACARS and the rest do NOT ! This is typical of TFDI and any of thier software. This may create issues in installing multiple Smartcars for other VA groups on top of each other, myself, I've seen it with my own CPU. This does not happen often, but can happen. If it does then contact us, we'll help you fix the issues. cACARS is on the other hand, one of our favorites as its not only accurate, but uses very little resources, and can be copied and dragged in other Hard Drives without effecting it, you can't do this with smartcars. Both cACARS and Smartcars hold as we've mentioned, multiple Bids at once, these are the only 2 that do so. kACARS and CCFTracker will not hold multiple Bids. However, kACARS will do a route search where as all the rest will "NOT", including smartcars. kACARS is also very accurate and it to uses very little resources. CCFTracker is used primarly for Boat routes if so desired, and is the only Client that works flawlessly for this, not that we have boat routes here, but the option is there. CCFTracker works for the listed above, and is also an option here.

SmartCars:: On an imporant note here, smartcars is now open for creation of a route directly via the Client itself. For now we leave this open. However there is one catch with this, you "Cannot" Create a Cargo flight with Smartcars even though it will allow you to. The reason is again simple, TFDI has "NOT" added the ability to seperate a Cargo Flight between a Passenger Flight, this is not us, but TFDI. They are suppose to be working on this fix but as of this post, they have not. And yes, there is a big difference in how PHPVMS calculates routes and finances here. Bottom line, please do NOT use a cargo flight and make sure when you are creating a Flight in Smartcars, that it is a PAX flight attached to a PAX Aircraft, or your Bid will be rejected and you will have to fly that route and create it all over again. We have a Cargo Operation Center , and an Airline "UPS" that has multiple Cargo routes for Cargo Aircraft. Explained below is how PHPVMS works with fiances on this subject;

PAX Flights are calculated with how many passengers are onboard, example, a 757-200 may hold around 204 passengers, so therefore, the ticket price/flight price would be $299.98 per passenger. So 204 multiply by the price is the phpvms calculation for the said passenger flight for said passenger aircraft. This is NOT the case with a Cargo Flight ! A Cargo flight is calculated a different way by phpvms, it is by the pound, or kg., etc. For example if we had a 757-200F (cargo jet), there is only 3 crew members or maybe only 2, so we can't make money on this obviously. Hence, we use for weight, pounds/lbs. so if the 757 cargo jet takes 128,000lbs of cargo, then the forumla is simple, anywhere from .44 cents to .87 cents a pound(lb). so .44 cents a pound multiply by 128,000lbs, is what we've made on that flight. This is done automatically by any and all phpvms software installs, including the new Beta one of version 7. (which is not perfected as of yet). So substituting or creating a Passenger Flight and flying a Cargo Jet will just not work at all here. This is another reason why we do not promote substituting one aircraft for another, it just doesn't work, and is also not at all realistic what so ever. So please ask us for specific Aircraft and/or Route, we'll make sure it gets in here.

These are just the basics here to get you going quickly and as a member you will find a lot of downloads to these and other things pertaining to your flight experience, such as FSUIPC versions for all of the Flight Sims, along with of course the downloads for our members. Each Download is also explained for what its for and what it does, and again, if you have any questions then please by all means Contact Us. Thank You.
